Quebecers aged 45 to 49 can make booster appointments today
As per the province’s booster shot calendar, Quebecers aged 45 to 49 can make appointments for a third dose of the COVID-19 vaccine as of today. (Note that, as per the embed below, Santé Québec has changed the calendar, opening eligibility a few days earlier for the younger groups.)
Booster eligibility is opening up to new five-year groups every two to three days, as was the case with the vaccine rollout in Quebec last year, allowing all Quebecers over 18 to book their appointments by Jan. 21. Quebec Health Minister Christian Dubé estimated in last week’s press conference that all adults should be able to get the shot by March.
Anyone over 50, people with chronic illnesses, people who received two doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine, essential workers and workers in certain industries are already eligible for the booster.
