Justin Trudeau: Get the booster so Canada can “get out of this pandemic for good”
Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau got his booster shot in Ottawa this morning, thanked healthcare workers and encouraged Canadians to keep getting vaccinated.

Got my booster shot this morning. To everyone out there who’s gotten their shots, and to the health care workers who are getting these shots into arms, thank you for doing your part. And to anyone who’s eligible but hasn’t yet been vaccinated or boosted, please, do that now. pic.twitter.com/X5Qjm5h7NZ— Justin Trudeau (@JustinTrudeau) January 4, 2022

On Sunday, Justin Trudeau shared a checklist of four steps that will enable Canada to “get out of this pandemic for good,” including the first and second vaccine doses, a booster and finally getting your kids vaccinated (if applicable).

All Quebecers aged 18 to 59 will be able to make their vaccination appointments by Jan. 21. Currently, people aged 55 or older are eligible for the booster, as are people with chronic illnesses and those in certain lines of work.

Get your first shot.  Get your second shot.  Get your booster.  Get your kids vaccinated.  And let’s get out of this pandemic – for good.— Justin Trudeau (@JustinTrudeau) January 2, 2022
